The moving-image is also a moving device. Here, in similar plots, it appears naked - devoid of a limit that encloses it. The piece, composed of five iron structures carrying rotating discs and their own lights, distributes specular beams throughout the space, producing silhouettes where the distinction, ultimately paradoxical, between the projected image and the image of the mechanism overlaps. Disarming distinctions such as those of projector/receiver, image/object, creation/manifestation, the process of forming the moving-image is reduced to its most axiomatic elements as a way of materializing its innates complexities and contradictions.
